Group's motivation   The evolution of non-oral language began with images, progressed to pictograms, switched to phonetic units and then to the alphabet. Each new step forward was, no doubt, a step towards a more efficient communication. But, today, owed to the new technologies, the hints of a reverse process back to images are numerous, inspired again by the search of efficiency. Computer Graphics could be defined as the Technical Science that uses a computer to create, memorize and manipulate in an automatic way graphics, real imagery and synthetic imagery. The union of the brain's ability to process information through images and the computer's capacity to manipulate and visually render great amounts of information, offers communication possibilities never before thought of by the human beings.
